About Our Four Legged Family

We believe that our little dogs are part of our family. We raise and treat them as such. They live with us and NOT in kennels, and we believe that the environment they and their puppies are raised in, is evident in their loving personalities, unique temperament and healthy condition.

Moms and pups are also kept inside the house to ensure they get the best possible care.

You are more than welcome to visit us and view our family! Come and have a look at where they stay, how they are brought up, what they are fed, their sibling and which of our so many adorable puppies finds a why into your heart.

Did you know?

The little dogs were bred 300 years ago in Germany to hunt badgers—their name literally means “badger hound” (dachs means badger; hundmeans dog). Their short legs allow them to enter badger dens, and their fierce gusto gives them the courage to take on the 15-pound mammals.

Dachshund Colors?

While you are probably used to seeing red, black & tan and dappled Doxies, did you know they come in 15 colors and 6 marking combinations? Colors include: black & cream, black & tan, blue & cream, blue & tan, chocolate & cream, chocolate & tan, cream, fawn (also called Isabella) & cream, fawn & tan, red, wheaten, wild board, black, chocolate and fawn.
